The music video opens with a man running from behind a corner seemingly running from someone or something. We then see a large group of attractive women turn the corner chasing after the man. I found this interesting because it is the contrast of the J-Lo video we saw in class. The man is well built and wearing a suit and the girls are all tall, skinny, have long hair, and are wearing mini skirts and tiny tank tops. They also for some reason are wearing helmets and arm pads as if they were roller derby girls. The video goes on to show a long drawn out chase between the man desperately trying to escape and the women. At many points throughout the video the camera focuses on a woman's breasts, or her hindquarters, or her hips. We never for any reason are shown why the man is running away or why the women are chasing him.

The idea behind the Old Spice Ad is to show men a man they want to be and to insinuate that wearing their scent will make them not only smell like that man, but be like him. The man we first see is a very tall and muscular man without a shirt on. He is addressing females who are watching his ad and telling them that their man could be like him if they were his scent. The men who are watching are now to think that their lady would like them to smell/be like the man they just saw. The man in the commercial then goes on to do manly things like buy sports tickets and diamonds and ride a white stallion, all while talking about how you could be like him.
