Summery of the Limousines’ music video: Very Busy People

It begins with a screen shot of someone searching the Limousines on Google images and photo shopping pictures of them. The band then begins singing on many different windows all over the computer with different backgrounds and lighting effects every few seconds. It then shows how people Photoshop pictures of themselves on Facebook, followed by a provocative picture blurred out in the background while the band members pretend like they are having sex. The screen then shows many different ways to write, “we are very busy people” using computer graphics and real life objects. The objects include balloons, shoelace, and macaroni. The ending scenes are just showing how the computer can be used to manipulate how people look and the amount of ways that you can create something on Photoshop. The song ends with around 5 seconds left in the video.

Summery of The Jezabels’ music video: Hurt Me

The video begins in what appears to be a nice house when a man puts on a record and begins to do some work on a messy desk. The shot then pans to a woman singing on what appears to be a tiki bar in what appears to be a waitress outfit. The shot then goes to a new woman now wearing a beautiful red dress, and then back to the man who is now pouring himself a glass of nice alcohol. The waitress woman then walks into a private investigators’ office at which point we see a new man sitting at the table. The next major scene shows the man with the alcohol drinking whatever he poured himself earlier and beginning to dance to the music. His house appears to be that of a wealthy man and there are stuff animal heads and fancy furniture everywhere. It then goes back to the tiki bar, which now appears to look like a restaurant, and both the waitress and woman who was in the red dress are sitting looking at each other across the room. The band then plays for a while until resuming the story of the video. Then the waitress and the private investigator have an argument and he throws papers all over his office. Then back at the tiki bar both of the men are there along with both of the women and the private investigator walks across the room. The woman who was in the red dress watches him cross while the rich man simply looks at the floor. The scene then continues back to the rich man playing guitar and drunkenly dancing around his house while the woman who was in the red dress visits the private detective. She then gives the private detective a binder of papers. Suddenly an argument seems to break out during which the private detective grabs the woman’s hands suggesting that she is more than just a client to him. The final scene shows the rich man with a drink slowly slipping out of his hand in his house and the private detective closing some sort of binder and the pounding on it angrily. The rich man then drops his glass and dies.
